Recommended Reading

The following are books and other resources I enjoy, many of which are recommended by my friends, relatives, clients, and adoptive families. Needless to say, I love animals--sometimes more than humans--and I support animal rescues, raw feeding, and complementary medicine. The books I have chosen below will help you understand the animals in your life, and you will learn more about their behavior, training, and care. I am very rescue-oriented having been the co-founder of a nationwide rescue organization. My adopted rescues and those I fostered are the most grateful animal companions I've ever encountered. Please consider a rescued animal companion. You will be adding a very grateful member to your family.

I will be adding to this list from time to time, so please feel free to submit your favorites! Be sure to check back often for new listings.
